Bring your own project idea and make it a reality! With Toni’s one-on-one guidance, participants will hand-build and decorate a personalized piece over two sessions. Best suited for those with prior hand-building experience. Finished pieces will be glazed and ready for pickup in 3–4 weeks.

In this creative and fun 5-week course, adult students learn the basics of hand-building techniques such as coiling, pinching and slabs in addition to a variety of decorating techniques. All projects will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday December 23rd.

In this very special 2-hour Clay Night open to a Parent-Child duo, Toni will guide participants in assembling and decorating a gingerbread house. Participants will use prepared slabs to cut out house's walls and roof, assemble the house and decorate with clay elements and slip.

A few evenings per month, from 6pm to 9pm, up to 8 clay enthusiasts gather at the Studio to explore a pottery process and create their own piece! In this 2-part workshop, Toni will instruct participants the rudiments of throwing at the pottery wheel and use the sgraffito technique to decorate.

In this 3-part Clay Night, artist Peter Purdy will introduce participants to the basic skills of sculpting clay. Peter is a multidisciplinary Anishnaabe artist who studied at the Ottawa School of Art in both fine art and traditional hand drawn animation and since been working within the arts throughout the Capital Region.
