About
Where Craft Meets Chemistry
Functional pottery, made with intention and depth of knowledge.
The Art and Science of Ceramics
Our work lives at the intersection of age-old techniques and modern ceramic science. With a deep understanding of clay bodies, glaze chemistry, and firing processes, we create pieces that are not only beautiful but also structurally sound and safe for everyday use. This foundation allows us to produce durable wares that hold up to the wear and tear of real life.
Form, Function, Longevity
We believe objects should be both pleasing to the eye and built to last. Our goal is to create contemporary-looking pottery that people reach for every day—whether it's a morning coffee or a shared meal. By blending aesthetic intention with technical precision, we make pottery that’s meant to be used and loved for years.
Rooted in Tradition, Designed for Now
Handcrafted pieces made slowly, with care, for the rhythm of modern life.
Meet the Founder
Marie-Josée (MJ) Lévesque
Founder
The Studio gives MJ the space to balance her passion for art-making with her background in business. It engages both the creative and analytical sides of her brain—allowing her to explore the craft of pottery while drawing on her experience in strategy and operations. At the heart of it all is a deep love for making pots: thoughtful, functional objects that bring beauty to the everyday.
