BUMPY ROADS STUDIO

This Summer, the Studio will be offering youth aged 13-17 years a unique opportunity to learn basic pottery skills during 5 half-day workshops.

The workshops run from 10am-1pm daily, Monday to Friday.

Day 1 – Introduction to hand-building 
Day 2 – Introduction to the pottery wheel
Day 3 – Student-led projects
Day 4 – Trim pots from day 2
Day 5 – Decorate

No prior experience with clay required - this series is designed for beginners. Best suited for youth happy to try skills out of their comfort zone.

All supplies included in the cost of the class.

The Studio will take care of firings and applying a clear glaze. Artwork will be ready for pick-up 3-4 weeks after Day 5.

COVID Protocol
Each workshop participant have their own area with dedicated wheel and tools. Student are asked to perform a COVID self-assessment before each class and call Public Health and refrain from attending class if they experience symptoms.

Refund Policy
$70 is refundable if cancellation notification is received 7 calendar days prior to the event date. Fees are not refundable past this timeline unless the event is suspended due to public health measures mandated by Government authorities. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
