Clay Night | December 1 + 8 + 15 - Intro to Scultping

In this 3-part Clay Night, artist Peter Purdy will introduce participants to the basic skills of sculpting clay. Peter is a multidisciplinary Anishnaabe artist who studied at the Ottawa School of Art in both fine art and traditional hand drawn animation and since been working within the arts throughout the Capital Region. 

December 1st from 6 pm- 9 pm: Initial shaping of sculpture
December 8thth from 6 pm- 9 pm: Finalizing sculpture
December 15th from 6pm-9pm: Decorating sculpture

Pieces will be ready for pickup at the studio 4-5 weeks after the last evening.

About the Instructor
Originally born in raised in Mattawa, Ontario, Peter has been working for the past thirty years as an artist, instructor, curator, set designer and event organizer. Most recently know as the local organizer for Art Battle Canada, Peter has consistently focused on helping fellow artists advance their skills and find new audiences.

Refund Policy
$50 is refundable if cancellation notification is received 7 calendar days prior to the event date. Fees are not refundable past this timeline unless the event is suspended due to public health measures mandated by Government authorities. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
